I started GreenTree Wealth in 2015 out of a desire to provide honest, meaningful financial advice to help my clients’ plan for their future.
I’m passionate about working alongside my clients throughout key life events and milestones and providing guidance and support when they need it most.
My father started his financial planning career over 30 years ago, setting up his own firm in the mid-’90s. I was fortunate to grow up with a profound respect for financial literacy and planning for your future.
Before starting my own career in financial planning, I worked in several sales roles, one of which was with a large Canadian chartered bank. I quickly realized there was a significant conflict of interest between many large financial institutions and the needs of their clientele.
I could see there was a gap in the marketplace for honest, unbiased financial advice.
I decided to leave my job with the bank and joined my father’s independent financial planning firm. I learned about the business from the ground up, by running the back-office and administrative activities and supporting with day-day operations. During this time, I learned how crucial it is to always put the client’s needs first.
Eventually, I joined my father’s firm as a partner and started building relationships with my own clients. Upon his retirement, I set up my own financial planning practice, GreenTree Wealth Management Limited.
Today, I work for my clients, their children, and their grandchildren. I believe this multi-generational client base is a testament to my commitment to building life-long professional relationships.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me relaxing at home with my wife, Meghan, and two daughters, Ryan and Maisie.
